Ross County is the 2nd largest county by land area in Ohio, so it’s not always easy for people in outlying townships to access our parks and programs.
W.O.W.- The Wilderness on Wheels Mobile Nature Center provides education and creates opportunities for engagement with citizens right in their local neighborhood. We created this mobile unit to serve the county and break down barriers of entry for outdoor recreation and education. This mobile unit allows us to do exactly that.
