Each February, for four days, the world comes together for the love of birds. Over these four days, people are invited to spend time in their favorite places watching and counting as many birds as they can find and reporting them. These observations help scientists better understand global bird populations before one of their annual migrations. Join the world’s largest bird count and connect with birds, nature, and with each other! Meet with Naturalist Ted in the lower parking lot for a short hike of easy to moderate terrain (1.5miles) to several great bird watching spots. Where warm and or waterproof boots, a hat, and dress for cold weather. Be sure to bring your binoculars!
